ABC50 stopped by the library last week to chat with Ms. Val!
Want to jump start your holiday shopping with some gently-used books for the grown ups or kids on your list? Want to stock up on winter reading?
Then head over to the Canton Free Library, 8 Park St., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 4.
Shoppers will find hardcover and paperback adult and children’s fiction and non fiction books, large print materials and a limited collection of CDs and DVDs.
A Kids Only section offering children’s books for sale will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The sale is sponsored by the Friends of the Canton Free Library, a volunteer group that supports the library through fundraisers and other events.
For more information, contact the library at 315-386-3712 or check out the library’s Facebook page or website.
The Friends of the Canton Free Library are asking for donations of gently used children’s books between now and November 27th. Books may be dropped off at the table outside the children’s room in the library at 8 Park Street during library hours.
Donated books will be used in the upcoming Friends of the Library Book Sale, which will take place on Saturday, December 3rd, 2021 from 10am-2pm. Children’s Only Shopping Hours on used children’s books are from 10-1 during the sale.
Please only donate books for children and teens. We DO NOT have the space to be able to accept donations of adult books at this time. Donations can only be accepted through November 27, 2021.
