📌 Pardon Our Dust! Our public restrooms are currently under renovation!

Renovation of our public restrooms began Monday, December 18th. This renovation might take a while… Groups won’t be able to use our meeting room while work is underway, and some or all programs may need to be canceled. More information will be posted on our website as the project moves forward. Thank you for your patience while we complete this important work!

While we are getting the restrooms squared away, we have also started the much-anticipated work on our lift! This means MORE dust… But, once it has cleared, we will not only have lovely, working restrooms, but a working lift to help make Canton Free Library accessible to all.

Despite what’s been an unusually warm winter, here’s our weather closing policy:

❄ The Library may be closed because of inclement weather or other emergency situation(s) at the Director’s discretion.

❄ The Library uses Canton Central School closures as a guideline! If the school is closed due to weather, the Library will open at noon; however, if by 11am the Director deems that conditions are still unsafe, the Library will remain closed for the whole day.

Stay safe this season. 🤍
