NEW!
We hope that you had a peaceful and enjoyable holiday season and a wonderful start to the new year.
Now – are you ready to begin to work on whatever you have resolved or determined to do (or not do) in 2026? Perhaps you’ve landed on some reading goals for the new year?
We want to encourage you in any way we can, whether it’s by pointing the way to a good book on nutrition, contemplation, or local hikes for your health-related goals; books on various hobbies or the arts for goals centered around creativity; or resources to further your educational goals – our shelves are loaded with them, and they are free for your use!
Also, novels! How many novels do you think you’ll read in 2026?
Please visit us and start working through your 2026 reading list, because the new books just keep coming and we need more room on our shelves!

CareKits include Toothbrush & toothpaste, hand sanitizer, a basic first aid kit, and laundry soap, razor & shaving cream, ChapStick, tampon, pad, wipes, soap & shampoo, a hat, mouthwash, handwarmer, comb, nail clippers, tissues, and deodorant.
This program has been sponsored by: North Country Library System; Northern NY Library Network; Northern NY Community Foundation; and North Country Bridges: Champions for Change. For more information or to help support this program, please visit ncls.org/carekits/
